March, 2016 (New York, NY) — Kevin Wood and Thomas Doscher launched a new radio podcast last week. The show, “MENS ROOM RADIO” www.MensRoomRadio.com content is centered around everyday life as middle aged men with the daily struggles of living on Long Island navigating the delicate balance of keeping a home, family while still following their basic human instinct PASSION and a mutual love for music, art, film comedy and current events. 
Thomas is the lead singer in the very popular Led Zeppelin Tribute band, “Hammer of the Gods.” Wood is a media specialist entrepreneur who was instrumental in bringing the audio podcast to a studio implementing the video aspect. “We wanted to go to the next level FAST… and bring the opportunity for guests to call and skype in plus give product placement opportunities for our sponsors” said Wood, who feels the content of their show will hit home for thousands of men who can relate to the content of discussion. 
Week 1 guests included the “Red Light Robinhood, Stephen Ruth who has been fervently fighting government on their use of red light cameras in Suffolk County. Their second call-in guest was Paul Mahos, recently reported as “Long Island Famous” by Newsday http://www.newsday.com/long-island/towns/people-who-are-long-island-famous-1.11148641 who spoke about mutual woes with the hosts. The show tapes every 2 weeks and produces 6 segments per show. Their discussions are real and enlightening.
The two comfortably sip from a bottle of beer, the set is warm, comfortable and the immediate feedback from fans and publicists has been very positive.
“Alot of guys hit 50 and give up their creative dreams, Kevin and I are just getting started – This show will make Long Island history” said Thomas, who can routinely be seen fronting sold out shows at Theaters throughout the tristate area with the “Hammer of The Gods” show.
The show already has sponsors,  including a very relevant Vinyl record retail establishment, Vinyl 777 https://www.facebook.com/vinylbay777 in Plainview.
Wood says: “topics are endless and roll off our tongues with ease, I think in this age of anti-political correctness, our timing to launch this show,  although not intentionally planned, was not by mistake – it just feels right.”
