Offering Professional Design Team Coordination and Planning, the Go-To Interior Design Firm Helps Provide Creative Atmospheres That Reflect Both The Style and Mission of Any Workplace
December, 2016 (Long Island, NY) — When it comes to building a new commercial space or even renovating an existing one that provides a more positive reflection of a company’s brand, there can often be a great deal of frustration about how to best meet the needs for form, function, and affordability. For well over a decade however, Lori-Girl Creations and its Founder and President Lori Miller have been New York’s go-to Interior Design Company helping to meet these needs and further enhance workplace environments to make them both visually and productively stimulating.
Having been invited to sponsor the 2016 American Cancer Society’s Hope Lodge NYC Holiday Bash in which designers presented elaborately decorated tables in the theme “Seasons of Hope” earlier this month, Miller has garnered a ton of praise in recent months through various events from Housing Work’s Design on a Dime Brooklyn Outpost in NY in which she was a featured designer to North Carolina’s High Point Market– the largest furnishings industry trade show in the world where she was asked to do an entire Instagram takeover! She was also interviewed by a number of designer outlets including international contemporary art consultancy Velvenoir, popular designer destination Go Design Go, and was featured in Asmara’s Interior Design Spotlight!
Capable of providing exquisite and high-end looks, Lori-Girl has helped a diverse group of clientele to achieve their visions through attention to detail and a unique design aesthetic that allows their team to create dynamic yet practical workspaces.
From retail spaces to waiting areas and lobbies, corporate meeting rooms, offices, hallways, communal areas, and more- Lori-Girl can provide expert space planning and execution of unique concepts that push creative boundaries. Through strategic choices of key furniture, colors, accents and accessories, the perfect mood and atmosphere of any workplace can be brought out to its fullest potential!
Miller founded Lori-Girl Creations, Inc. in 2000, and holds degrees in both Interior Design and Psychology. She has been featured in various publications and in a variety of media segments both nationally and locally.
Lori believes that through her training in Feng Shui, Reiki, Native American Studies, Counseling, and Interior Design she can assist people in making positive lifestyle changes. Her view is that a person’s environment impacts on their well-being and focusing on small changes can help to create a clear space through conscious choices.
Lori has also co-authored the book Feng Sh…What? The Basic Rules of Good Design with Julie Hernandez, a licensed therapist. This is the first book written in dialogue format which explains the decorating process. With an easygoing conversational manner, it takes readers on a journey that explores the unique relationship between personality and design. It is a colorful, picture-filled book which provides step-by-step instructions, checklists, design ideas, a color test and advice to help readers gain insight into their own unique personality & style.
So whether a business is looking to revamp their existing style and design space to further encapsulate the spirit of their brand, or be more bold through introducing new Interior Design concepts, Lori-Girl Creations can use their unique insight to help create the best commercial space possible!
